Mildred Ann Leddige , age 94, of Reynolds, ND passed away with her family at her side on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 in Transitional Care at Valley Senior Living in Grand Forks.

Mildred Ann Weber was born on April 23, 1925 in Grand Forks, ND to Roman and Julia (Angelsburg) Weber. She graduated from Thompson High School. Mildred was united in marriage to Verdeen Leddige on May 22, 1946 at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Thompson, ND and they made their home in Reynolds, ND; where they farmed and for many years she raised chickens. In 2016, she moved to Grand Forks.

Mildred was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Christian Women Organization and the American Legion Auxiliary; she also assisted at the Knights of Columbus fall supper and raffle in Reynolds. She loved to cook and bake, especially for her family and friends; anybody that stopped by was always sure to be welcomed at her table. Mildred enjoyed spending time playing cards, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, embroidering dish towels and watching the Minnesota Twins.

She is survived by her children, Mary (Ken) Knutson, Reynolds, ND, Shirley (Eugene) Schreiner, Reynolds, ND, John (Melinda) Leddige, Gillette, WY, Joe (Bernie) Leddige, Grand Forks, ND, Ray (Judy) Leddige, Reynolds, ND and Judy (David) Jahnke, Grand Forks, ND; daughter-in-law, Mary Leddige, Reynolds, ND; a sister, Mary Adams and a brother, James Weber, both of Thompson, ND; 10 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Verdeen; son, William Leddige; grandchildren, Travis Leddige and Amy Schreiner; sister, Anna Weber; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Magdalene Weber; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gertrude (Kenny) Cunningham, Elizabeth (Norman) Knipping, Catherine (Clemens) Adam and Dorothy (Walter) Bohlman; a sister-in-law, Donna Weber; and brother-in-law, Vernon Adams.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2019, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Reynolds, ND.
Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday with a 4:30 p.m. rosary service and a 7:00 p.m. vigil service in The Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Monday.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Reynolds, ND.
