Mona L. Shilling, 79, of Grand Forks, ND died Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Mona L. Robertson was born on June 19, 1944, to Wilbur and Dorothy Robertson in DuBois, PA.  She attended Reynoldsville, PA High School, graduating in 1962.  She then attended DuBois Business College, graduating in 1964.  She was employed by Rockwell Manufacturing until February 3, 1968, when she married John Shilling, Sr. John was in the United States Air Force, finally settling in Grand Forks, in 1976.  John retired in 1986 and they remained in Grand Forks.  Mona was employed by the University of North Dakota working in the Medical Department.

She is survived by her husband, John, Grand Forks, ND; four children, John Shilling, Jr. Fargo, ND, Lori McNeely, Conover, NC, Amy Shilling, Grand Forks, ND and Jennifer Noye, Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Nikki, Jamie, Kristen, David, Lela, Sarah, Logan, Lauren and Jake; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Easton, Silas, Ellie and Evie; brothers, George Robertson and Donald Robertson, both of Reynoldsville, PA.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Shilling; her parents, Wilbur and Dorothy Robertson; a brother, Wilbur Robertson, Jr. and a sister-in-law, Sandy Robertson.

Cremation has taken place.  Per Mona's request, there will be no services.
