Noel K. Rusling , 68, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Monday, September 22, 2025, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Noel Kelly Rusling was born on August 4, 1957, in Warren, MN, the son of Noel and Ardyce (Fredricks) Rusling.  He lived with his family in Stephan, MN, Minot, ND, Alvarado, MN and Grand Forks, ND.  He started the 9th Grade in Crookston, MN.  At the age of 18, Noel enlisted in the United States Navy at San Diego, CA and served aboard the USS Kitty Hawk.  He returned to Grand Forks and was employed as a sheetrock installer with several sheetrock companies in the area and with Rusling Signs. Later, he worked as a freelance sheetrock installer.

He loved being around cats. His late girlfriend bred and raised cats.  He enjoyed being at her house and playing with them. He loved fishing and he had many adventures with his brother, Jeff, and nephew, Peter. He was so proud of each of his grandchildren and loved being able to spend time with them. He also enjoyed playing bingo and played any chance he got.

He is survived by his mother, Ardyce Hart; his children, David (Alex) Heinle, Kelly (Chris) Ross, and Kasey Heinle; brothers, Jeff Rusling, Jason (Marta) Rusling, Pungy (Marilyn) Hart and Larry Hart; his sisters, Nancy Rusling, Julie (Mel) Clark and Susan (David) Rusling-Chaffee; grandchildren; Damien, Chase, Richard, Logan, Hunter, Aubry, Kaizer, Keanu and Hunny, and of course, all his nephews and nieces who loved crazy and funny, Uncle Kelly.

He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, his father, Noel Rusling, stepmother, Mary Rusling and stepfather, Ed Hart.
