Patrick J. Klave , 75, Grand Forks, ND passed away on Tuesday November 19, 2024, at Sanford Hospital in Roger Maris Cancer Center, Fargo, ND, after battling with cancer.

Patrick Joseph Klave was born on March 7, 1949, the son of Leo and Mary (Ferry) Klave.  He attended school in Grand Forks, ND.  Patrick was a devout Catholic and spent much of his adult life assisting local catholic churches with day-to-day activities.  He enjoyed reading and had a sizeable library of books pertaining to his key interests (Catholicism, history, and health/wellness).  Patrick was also interested in genealogy and had a vast understanding of his family tree.

He is survived by his sister, Margaret (Emil) Sperling, Wilmington, NC; brothers Dan, Auburn, WA, and Robert (Janelle) both of Grand Forks, ND; nephews and nieces Daniel (Robin) Klave Jr., Michelle (Greg) Messer, David Klave, JulieAnn (John Eubanks) Sperling, Brandon Klave, and Shealyn (Bradyn Just) Klave; great nephews and nieces Ben Klave, Sam Messer, Sydney Messer, Ashlan Klave, and Kevin Klave, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Mary Klave and sister-in-law Avis (Mrs. Dan) Klave.

The family wishes to send our sincere appreciation to the medical staff at the Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo, ND for the exceptional care and attention provided to Patrick.

Requiem Mass: 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2024, in Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Crookston, MN.
Visitation: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with 9:30 a.m. recitation of the Holy Rosary in the church on Monday.
Burial: Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
