Thomas P. Malone, 60, of Dundee, FL and formerly of Grand Forks, ND passed away Friday, June 21, 2024, at his home in Dundee.

Thomas Patrick Malone was born on October 19, 1963, in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Richard T. Malone and Arleen (Dorsher) Malone.  He was raised in Grand Forks, ND and East Grand Forks, MN attending St. Michael's Elementary School and graduated from East Grand Forks Central High School in 1981.

Thomas enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as munitions systems technician in England and Operation El Dorado Canyon against Muammar Gaddafi and the members of his regime. Following his discharge from military service, he remained in England.  He was a Driver's Education Instructor, in a work release program, for prisoners in short term incarceration.  This helped many of them to find employment after their imprisonment.

He returned to the United States and was employed as an exterminator until he was injured.  Later, he moved to Dundee, FL and resumed his first interest, painting.  He had a talent for this art form, and it remained a hobby throughout his life. He was formerly married to Theresa Cook and Judy Wilkinson.

He is survived by his mother, Arleen (Mrs. Robert) Norton; his sons, Richard Malone, Jr., Thomas (Gemma) Malone and Matthew Malone; his siblings. Michael (Ruth) Malone, Danial (Angie) Malone, Molly (Brian) Danekes and Jennifer (Michael) Gallina; several grandchildren; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard T. Malone, Sr.

Memorial Mass: 2:00 p.m. Friday. August 16, 2024, in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Interment: Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
