Paulette A. Molstad of Golden Lake, ND passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Sanford Mayville Medical Center in Mayville, ND. Paulette would have been 76 years old on January 8, 2020.

Paulette Ann Dahlgren was born on January 8, 1944 the daughter of Palmer and Borghild (Lee) Dahlgren. Her mother passed away shortly after giving birth to Paulette. Paulette was raised by her grandparents, Mabel and Bert Lee on their farmstead in Nekoma, ND. Paulette was baptized and confirmed at Nekoma Lutheran Church.

Paulette graduated high school from Nekoma. While in school, she was active in many activities, including being a football cheerleader. After high school, Paulette moved to Grand Forks and graduated from Aaker's Business College. She then worked as a secretary at the University of North Dakota. Paulette married Gary Molstad in 1963 at Nekoma Lutheran Church. Paulette and Gary made their home in Grand Forks where they raised their three children. Paulette was in a softball and bowling league. She loved camping and fishing at the lakes and went many times with her family. Paulette and Gary were married for 26 years.

Paulette met her love and companion, John Becker in 1991. Eventually, Paulette made her dream come true living in a lakefront home on Golden Lake, ND. Paulette and John resided there for 25 years. John passed away February 2019. Paulette continued living there until the Lord called her home.

Paulette is survived by her three children David (Julie) Molstad, Grand Forks; Jamie Molstad, Arizona; and Julie (Jamie) Vatnsdal, Grand Forks and her five grandchildren, Alex (Carly) Molstad, Jennifer Molstad, Payton Vatnsdal, Grant Vatnsdal and Ellisa Molstad. Paulette is also survived by her stepmother, Hope Dahlgren; sisters, Bonnie Wick, Joan Murphy and Barb Sutton. She is also survived by her close cousin and life-long friend, Luanne Fenger, as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Paulette was preceded in death by her parents and companion, John Becker.

Memorial Service: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
