Peter T.L. Sandbeck, 78, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Friday, November 29, 2019 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Peter Timothy Lincoln Sandbeck was born February 12, 1941 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Paul and Pearl (Erickson) Sandbeck. Peter enlisted in the United States Navy on August 14, 1959 and served aboard the USS Newport News. He was honorably discharged from military service on August 13, 1963. For many years, he was employed as a truck driver with several trucking companies.

In 1999, Peter became a part of the caring family of St. Anne's Guest Home in Grand Forks. His beloved companion, "his sweetheart" there was Jane Anne Carpenter, who survives him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald Sandbeck and a sister, Betty Nordvidt.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2019 in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Family Greeting: One hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Monday.
Military Honors: Accorded by members of the American Legion Post 157, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3817 and the United States Navy Reserve.
A Reception: Will follow the memorial service in the community room of the Historic Norman Funeral Home.
