Ramona A. Slivicki, 90, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025, at her home in Grand Forks.

Ramona Ann Legg was born July 22, 1934, the daughter of Lewis and Lillian (Byzewski) Legg, on the family farm near Ardoch, ND.  She attended elementary school in Ardoch and graduated from Minto High School in Minto, ND.   Following high school, she moved to Grand Forks and was employed with Herberger's Department Store.  She returned to living on the family farm and was employed as Deputy Register of Deeds with Walsh County.

Ramona married Raphel "Ray" Slivicki on April 14, 1956, in St. Johns Catholic Church in Ardoch.  For a short time, they resided in Grafton, ND until moving to Minto where they owned and operated Ray's Bar and Lounge, until 1981.  In 1976, Ray and Ramona established and operated Statewide Gaming.  This was one of the first companies in North Dakota to sell pulltabs and charitable gaming equipment. Following their retirement in 1995, they moved to Grand Forks. Ray preceded her in death on August 1, 2009.  Following the death of her husband, Ramona continued to reside in Grand Forks.

Ramona enjoyed playing Bingo, playing Bridge and going out to dinner and visiting with her friends. Most of all, she loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a longtime member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks.

She is survived by her son, Robert Slivicki, Grand Forks, ND; her grandchildren, Rachel Slivicki (John Perkins), Flossmoor, IL, Ryan (Brittany) Slivicki, Grand Forks, ND; great-grandchildren, Graham, Violet, and Rayden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ray, an infant daughter, Mary and a brother, Allen Legg.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: One hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Monday.
Burial: Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
