Richard "Rick" J. Jerombeck, 68, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Monday, July 27, 2026, with his wife, Kelly by his side, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks

Richard Joseph Jerombeck was born on April 3, 1958, in Grand Forks, ND the son of Harry and Lorraine (Winter) Jerombeck.  He graduated from Oslo High School, Oslo, MN in 1978. Richard enlisted in the United States Army and served as a wheel mechanic with the infantry. He was honorably discharged from active military service at Fort Riley, Kansas.  Richard returned to Grand Forks and was employed as a custodian with the Grand Forks Public School System.  Richard married the love of his life, Kelly Olson, in November 1987 in Grand Forks.  He enjoyed listening to music (on 8 tracks) and working on his plastic models in his man cave.  He loved planting a garden and his 1991 Toyota Camry, "Granny".

Rick had a kind heart and always said he was "Awesome Rick".  We love you, Rick. Love always wife, Kelly and son, Nath.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly; his son, Nathan; a brother, Jim (Julie) Jerombeck, Grand Forks, ND and a sister, Susan (Larry) Anderson, St. Cloud, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, and his sister, JoAnn Mantley.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2026, in the Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Family Greeting : One hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Thursday.
Military Honors: Accorded by members of the American Legion Posy 157, the Veterans of Foreign Wars posy 3817 and the North Dakota Army National Guard.
