Rodney D. Reich, 75, of Grand Forks, ND gained his wings and joined the Lord on Monday, June 16th, 2025 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Rodney Dale Reich was born on September 10th, 1949 in Jamestown, ND as the son of Reuben and Lydia (Ackerman) Reich.  He grew up in Dickinson, ND where he graduated from Dickinson High School in 1967.  In 1970, Rodney enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for around 20 years.  During his assignment in the Philippines, he met the love of his life, Alice (Dargantes) and the two were married on December 23rd, 1972.

Rodney enjoyed many sports.  He loved to watch golf and also play golf with his son, Shawn.  He was a huge Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins fan and loved to follow the Utah Jazz during the NBA season.  Rodney was an avid supporter of UND sports, especially the UND Fighting Hawks Football team and the UND Men's "Fighting Sioux" Hockey team.  He was always up-to-date on the latest local and world news.  One thing he really cherished was his grandchildren, Daxton (5) and Bodden (2) and would really light up when they were around.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Alice; his son, Shawn (Erika) Reich, Otsego, MN; grandchildren, Daxton (5) and Bodden (2).

He was preceded in death by his sister, Vietta (Reich) Barden and parents, Reuben and Lydia (Ackerman) Reich.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: One hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Wednesday.
Burial: 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025, in Fargo National Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
Military Honors: Accorded at the time of burial by members of the Fargo Memorial Honor Guard and the Grand Forks Air Force Base Honor Guard.
