Roger A. Fohr, 65, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Roger Allen Fohr was born on September 30, 1957, in Devils Lake, ND the son of Nicolas and Beatrice (Fast) Fohr.  Roger grew up in Alsen, ND and graduated from Alsen High School in 1975.  He moved to Grand Forks and was employed with Standard Oil, Lyons Auto and then Home of Economy for over 40 years.   Roger met his future wife, Bobbie Hall in 1972 and they married in 1975.

He enjoyed fishing, trapping, and hunting, working on Brandon Fuller's race car, golfing, shooting at the gun club, bowling, working the UND Hockey team games as an off-ice official, riding his snow mobile, tinkering around the garage fixing things, feeding the birds and squirrels in the back yard, and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie; his son, Nick (Lindsey) Fohr Dexter, MI; a daughter, Lindsay (Steven) Buchhop, West Fargo, ND; a son, Matt Fohr Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren, Carter (12), Fischer (8), Cooper (4), and Kjerstin (4)

He was preceded in death by parents, Nicolas and Beatrice and his stepfather, Ernest Goeser.

In Lieu of Flowers: Roger's family would like donations to be given to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation or the Lustgarten Foundation: Pancreatic Cancer Research .

Memorial Liturgy: 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2023, in the Historic Norman Funeral Chapel.
Family Greeting: On hour prior to the liturgy in the funeral Home on Monday.
Interment: In the spring, at the Garden of the Evangelists Columbarium, Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
