Ronald L. Pruett , Sr., 82, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, in Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Ronald Leigh Pruett was born on April 23, 1939, in Grand Forks, ND the son of Stanley and Helga (Johnson) Pruett. He was raised and educated in Grand Forks. Ronald married Peggy Fischer in May of 1961. Between them, 3 children were born, Greg, Cheryl and Ronald, Jr.

Ronald was employed with Nodak Sales, Gamble Robinson and retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company. Following his retirement, he was employed with Lunseth Plumbing and Heating. He enjoyed fishing at Lake of the Woods, Minnesota and going to casinos. He loved attending events for his children and grandchildren. Ronald was a loving father and devoted grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; his sons, Greg (Lori) Pruett and Ronald (Tina) Pruett, Jr. both of Grand Forks, ND; a daughter, Cheryl (Derek) Ferraro, Grand Forks, ND; a sister, Sharon Williams, Minneapolis, MN; a brother, Darrell Pruett, Minneapolis, MN; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Jim, Dennis, and Harlen.

Memorial Mass: 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Interment: At a later date, in Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks, MN.
