Rufina J. Keegan, 91, of Grand Forks, ND passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, in Valley Senior Living on Columbia in Grand Forks.

Rufina Joan Przybyleski was born on August 19, 1930, in Florian, MN the daughter of Martin and Josie (Banaszwski) Przybylski.  Rufina moved to Grand Forks and was employed with Tweets Grocery and later with Eddy's Bakery. Rufina married James C. Keegan, Jr. on November 7, 1953, in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Warren, MN.  Rufina and James lived in Grand Forks and Rufina was employed as a cook with the Grand Forks Public School System, until her retirement.

She was a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Forks and enjoyed playing Bingo.  Rufina's passion was cooking.  During the holidays, she prepared more food than anyone could eat.  Most of all, Rufina loved and was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren.  James preceded her in death on September 30, 2006.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Mrs. Roger) Moss, Anna, IL and Barbara Hallin, East Grand Forks, MN; her son, Randy (Lisa) Keegan, Grand Forks, MN; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Veronica (Mrs. Robert) Boushee, Rita (Mrs. Gene) Lequire and Kathy (Mrs. Al) Atencio; a brother-in-law, Richard Keegan and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and her siblings.

Funeral Liturgy :  1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2021, in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation: One hour prior to the liturgy in the funeral home on Wednesday.
Burial: Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
