Sally R. Ahles , 57, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, in Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Sally Renae Monsebroten was born on December 28, 1965, in Park River, ND the daughter of Norman and Eleanor (Monson) Monsebroten.  She was raised in Grand Forks and graduated from Red River High School.   Sally went on to obtain her Medical Assistant degree from Northland Community Technical College (AVTI) in East Grand Forks, MN.  She was employed for numerous years with Valley Medical Clinic in Grand Forks.  She absolutely loved all the patients.   Sally married Larry Ahles and together had three children, Nathan, Gabrielle, and Noah.  Her kids were her world.

Sally was wonderfully thoughtful and generous towards her family and friends.  She always remembered everyone else and sent endless cards and gifts for every occasion.  In recent years, she cared for her mother. which enabled her mother to remain in her home. For this, the family is extremely grateful.

Sally is survived by a son, Nathan (Ashley Santangelo) Ahles, Littleton, CO; a daughter, Gabrielle (fiancé, Joshua Defoe) Ahles, Grand Forks, ND; her mother, Eleanor Monsebroten, Grand Forks, ND; her sisters, Betty (Scott) Otteson, Grand Forks, ND, Nancy (Bill "Bones") Monsebroten-Adams, Wisconsin; her brothers, Jeff (Anita) Monsebroten, Edinburg, ND, Lyle (Carol) Monsebroten, Wisconsin; a nephew, Andy (Marissa) Erickson and a niece, Amanda (Drew) Pinkerton.

She was preceded in death by a son, Noah Ahles; her father, Norman and her brothers, Russell Monsebroten and Ray Monsebroten.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023, in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Family Greeting: One hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Saturday.
