Sarah J. Swehla , 85, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Valley Senior Living on Columbia in Grand Forks.

Sarah Jane Campbell was born on August 14th, 1938, to parents Jasper Campbell and Florence (Johnson) Campbell. Sarah married James Swehla on April 24th, 1958. Together they raised 4 children.

Sarah worked at Walmart for over 23 years before retiring.

She enjoyed spending time with family, reading, shopping for treasures and cooking.

Sarah is survived by her children, Michael (Roxann) Swehla, Lori (Mike) Sather, Jon (Terrie) Swehla; 7 Grandchildren, Jill, Mike Jr., Amanda, Justin, Shelby, Ava, and Dane; 6 Great-Grandchildren, Jacob, Sydney, Shayla, Skylar, Zachary, and Weston; 1 Great-Great Granddaughter, Elizabeth; 2 sisters Judy Schroeder and Faith Driscoll.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, James, daughter Janelle Cadreau, and Great-Great Granddaughter, Catherine.
