Sharon Lee Wynne , 83, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 in Valley Senior Living in Grand Forks.

Sharon was born November 18, 1942 to Walter and Selma (Bergum) Deitz. She attended Grand Forks schools and graduated from Central. She married Leonard Wynne in 1960 and had 3 daughters. She worked various retail jobs in Grand Forks with K-Mart being the longest. She met Al Swanson in 1995. They moved to Thief River Falls and enjoyed the outdoors and road trips. Sharon has always had a love for cats and throughout her life always had one or a few on her lap.

Sharon is survived by daughters Tina Beitz (Chad Anderson), Gina Freitag, both of Grand Forks, grandchildren, Danika (Brandan) Pearson, Talon Freitag, Brandon (Brianna) Abell, Hailey (Charley) Gebhart, Mason (Bailey) Grimes, Bryar Grimes, several great grandchildren, and her sweet companion, Molly, her cat.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, brothers and daughter, Karla.

Because Sharon was passionate about animals, please, in lieu of flowers, make a donation to the humane society or pet rescue of your choice in her name.

Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2026 in the Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation: 1:00-3:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2026 in Norman Funeral Home.
Interment: At a later date.
