Tammy Kay (Anderson) Johnson , 67, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on July 21, 1959, in Grand Forks, ND. Tammy lived a life defined by love, devotion, and compassion. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched countless lives through her kindness, strength, and generous spirit.

Tammy welcomed her first son, Derek Drake, and later married her beloved husband, Mike Johnson. Together, they had a son, Tyler Johnson. They built a life centered on family. Family was Tammy's greatest treasure, and she found immense happiness in spending time with those she loved most.

Tammy leaves behind her loving husband, Mike Johnson; her sons, Tyler (Ashly) Johnson of Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Derek Drake of Palm Springs, California; her five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, who were a constant source of pride and joy; her sisters, Kristi Sorlien of Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Victoria (Lloyd) Odegard of Arizona, her brother Troy and many nieces and nephews.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Marilyn Tupa, grandparents and her brother, Tad.

Those who knew Tammy will remember her warm smile, caring heart, and unwavering dedication to her family. She had a special gift for making people feel welcome and loved, and her presence brought comfort and happiness to everyone around her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will live on through her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though she will be deeply missed, Tammy's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2026 in the Norman Funeral Home Chapel, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: One hour prior to the Memorial Service in the funeral home on Tuesday.
Luncheon and Celebration of life: Will be held in the Lincoln Park Community Room in Grand Forks, ND immediately following the service.
