Tanya Noel LaRocque, 41, of Grand Forks, ND passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 6, 2021 with her family in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Although she struggled on this earth she's at peace and gained her angel wings.

Tanya Noel LaRocque was born December 20, 1979 in Iowa City, IA. She was blessed with two moms, Alice Seemuth and Gail Marie Benson, along with her father, Terry Wray Oakes.

Tanya had a kind, loving, caring soul. She always put her kindness and love towards those that needed it. She is survived by her best friend Travis LaRocque, her children Amara and Braylon, her siblings Terra, Tiffany and Joshua, her grandson Anthony James, as well as Caleb, who she referred to as her adopted son, and her beloved niece Courtney. She loved animals with her whole heart. Along with her dog Vader, who she referred to as, Sergeant Vader. She was preceded in death by her mother Gail and her paternal grandmother, the family dog, Baby and their guinea pig whom she said made you "Jawannapig Oreo."

A Private Memorial Service: Will be held in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
