In Loving Memory of Travis Ann Einarson

Traves Ann Einarson passed away August 3, 2022, at Valley Senior Living on Columbia in Grand Forks, ND.   She was loved and cared for with compassion by the people at Valley Senior Living.

She loved Jesus and is surrounded by his loving arms.

She attended Cavalier Public School until age 10 and spent most of her life in Grand Forks, ND working at the Westward Ho for over 29 years.

After her retirement, she volunteered at the Link helping with noon meals for people with disabilities.  She loved playing bingo twice a week and going fishing at Devils Lake, every summer.  She also attended group Bible Camp, for many years.

Traves is survived by two brothers and one sister: Marvin (Rita) Einarson, Aldi, VA; Elizabeth (Dr. Geoffrey) Johnson, Brookings, SD; Sigmund Einarson, Cavalier, ND.  Six nieces and nephews:  Jennifer (John Wolfe) Olson, Cold Spring, MN; Dr. Anne (Dr. Christopher) Harris, Brookings, SD; Dr. Paul (Molly) Johnson, Harrisburg, SD; Tonya (Patrick) Owens, Purcellville, VA; Bradley (Robin) Einarson, Cumming, GA; Chrissy (John) Gerbracht, Aldi, VA.  She had 14 great nieces and nephews.

Traves was preceded in death by her parents, Kristinn and Marion Einarson, Cavalier, ND.

Traves will be put to rest at the Hallson Icelandic Cemetery, where her mother, father and many relatives are buried. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Memory of Traves will be a part of us forever. The family would like to thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2022, in Augustana Lutheran Church, 520 University Avenue, Grand Forks, ND 58203.
Interment: 2:30 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2022, in Hallson Icelandic Cemetery, Pembina County, North Dakota.
