VICTORIA "VIKKI" LYNN VOTAVA

Vikki L. Votava, age 69 of Grand Forks, ND, was called to her eternal resting place on Wednesday June 24, 2026 at Altru Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Vikki was the daughter of Ewald and Lucille (Kiedrowski) Votava, was born on August 31, 1956 at Grafton, ND. She was the middle of seven children. Vikki was raised and attended school in Minto, ND. Vikki spent most of her life being a waitress at many different food and bar establishments. She drove truck for several local farmers and for Simplot. Vikki also earned her GED and received her Health Unit Coordinator training education at the East Grand Forks AVTI.

She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and knitting. Vikki liked a good game of cards and pull tabs. She loved spending time with her family and friends and also watching EWTN.

She is survived by her son, Jason (Cheri) Hoffart of Devils Lake, ND; daughter, Amanda Rose (Keith) Pung of Kalamazoo, MI; 6 grandchildren, Gavin, Payton, Jackson, Rashia, Maxwell and Brya; sisters, Kathy (David) Lofthus, Grand Forks, ND, Suzi (Mark) Tibert, Minto, ND, Nancy Kay Votava and Lori Lu Votava, both of Grand Forks, ND; brothers, Lonny (Randi) Votava, Fort Gratiot, MI, and several nieces and nephews.

Vikki was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robbie Votava and two brothers-in-law Joe McDonald and Mark Tibert.

Vikki was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Please, keep Vikki and her family in your prayers. The family is planning a private Catholic Memorial Mass  and interment at a later date.
