Vladimir Kovacevic, 63, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at Valley Senior Living on Columbia in Grand Forks.

Vladimir Kovacevic was born on January 21, 1961, in Sarajevo, Bosnia, the son of Jozo and Andja (Blazevic) Kovacevic.  He was raised and lived in Konjic until moving to the United States in February of 2000.  He was employed in the maintenance department of Walmart in Grand Forks from 2000 until 2020, when he retired due to health issues.  In his youth, Vladimir enjoyed playing soccer.  Later, he enjoyed watching soccer, fishing and watching sports.

He is survived by a brother, Mladenko (Mara) Kovacevic; a sister, Liljana (Ivan) Situm; nephews, Dario Situm, Dragan Situm and Dalibor Kovacevic; nieces, Dragana Situm and Daliborka Kovacevic and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jozo and Andja.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2024, in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: One hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Monday.
Burial: Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
