Wayne E. Jenson, 82, of Euclid, MN passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021, in Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Wayne Eugene Jenson was born on February 15, 1939, in Rochert, MN the son of Carl and Viola (Tovson) Jenson.  He was raised in Rochert and graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in Detroit Lakes, MN.  Wayne entered the United States Navy on February 19, 1958, at Rochert, MN and served as a Machinist's Mate aboard the USS Floyd B. Parks.  He was honorably discharged from active military service on June 12, 1962, at San Francisco, CA.  He moved to Grand Forks and was employed in construction.  Wayne married Lois Galbrecht on April 14, 1964, at St. John's Lutheran church, Height of Land Township, Frazee, MN.  Wayne and Lois moved to East Grand Forks, MN and Wayne was employed as a Boiler Operator at the Grand Forks Air Force Base until his retirement He also worked part-time at Vern's Refuse. Wayne enjoyed being with his family
and friends. Wayne will be forever loved and dearly missed by his family.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lois; his children, Jim (Barb) Jenson, Jolynn (Tim) Pribula and Jeff (Staci) Jenson; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Annette) Jenson, Kenny Jenson and Gary (Sharon) Jenson; sisters, Carol (Dave) Eckberg and Linda (Tom) Pavola many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David and Gordon and a sister, Louise.

Military Honors: Accorded, at the time of internment, by members of the American Legion Post 157, The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3817 and the United States Navy Reserve.
