WAYNE ALLEN SKARO

Wayne Allen Skaro, age 69 of Grand Forks, died on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at his home.

Wayne A. Skaro, a son of Harvey and Agnes (Vondal) Skaro, was born on November 5, 1955, in Michigan, ND. He was reared and educated in Langdon, ND. On November 17, 1972, Wayne entered the US Army. He was honorably discharged on August 30, 1974. Wayne returned home and he met Jean Anderson and shortly after they moved to Grafton and worked for carpenters in the area. In 1979, they moved to Grand Forks where he worked for B&C Roofing for a time. Later he worked for a furniture company. Wayne began working with his family doing small construction jobs around Grand Forks.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. (any hobbies?)

He is survived by a son Wayne Anderson; a stepson Bryan Hulquist; grandchildren, Alyssa, Brittany, Miranda, Michael and Mason; great-grandchildren, Bently, Brook, Selena and Dylan; Sisters, Beverly Ellingson, Alice Johnson and Linda Phiel; brothers, Pete Skaro and Robert Skaro.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parent; a daughter Jamei Lukesh; a sister Norma Kucck; and a brother Harvey Skaro.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 1:30 pm at Memorial Park North in Grand Forks, ND.
