William "Bill" Dohman , 79, of Cambridge, MN and formerly of Grand Forks, ND passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021, at his home in Cambridge.

William Paul Dohman was born on August 30, 1942, in Seattle, WA the son of Walter and Vivian (Hughes) Dohman. He moved with his family to Grand Forks, ND and later East Grand Forks, MN. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic School, East Grand Forks Central High School and graduated from St. James Catholic High School in 1960. William married Ila Innes on January 4, 1964, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in East Grand Forks.

William was employed with Absey Motors and as Parts Manager with Hanson Ford in Grand Forks. William and Ila moved to Hudson, WI and William was employed as a parts manager until his retirement. Following his retirement, William and Ila moved to Fergus Falls, MN and later Cambridge, MN.

William enjoyed bicycling and bicycle racing; was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and a classic car enthusiast. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grand Forks, ND and St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Elizabeth, MN.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Ila; his sons, Mark (Michelle) Dohman, Shelley, MN and Scott (Tyna) Dohman, Coon Rapids, MN; brothers Tom Dohman and James Dohman, both of Grand Forks, ND; sisters, Beverly (Mrs. Benny) Bennett, Bensalem, PA, Judy (Steve) Mullally    and Marilyn Moon both of Grand Forks, ND; 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Michael John.

Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021, in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: One hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Friday.
Burial: Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks, MN.
